Soli-Summerlounge für Refugees for Change am 30. August

Sonntag, 30. August 2015 // 15 bis 20 Uhr
ehem. Polizei- und Abschiebegefängnis Klapperfeld
Klapperfeldstraße 5 (Nähe Konstablerwache), Frankfurt/Main

[English below]

*Special*
Um 18 Uhr wird der Film “Boza” von Walid Fellah gezeigt (Tunesien/Marokko/Europa 2014, Arabisch / Französisch mit dt. oder engl. Untertiteln, 52min, weitere Filminfos hier).

Sunday, 30th of August, 2015 // 3pm to 8pm
former police custody and immigration detention centre Klapperfeld
Klapperfeldstraße 5 (near Konstablerwache), Frankfurt/Main

The legal situation of refugees in Germany and Europe is being tightened. At the same time, refugees organize themselves and take to the streets to fight for their rights. For more than a year now, the network Refugees for Change (Re4ch) has been doing that in Frankfurt and many areas of the federal state of Hesse. An important part of the group’s activities is driving to refugee centres in order to break the isolation by networking. Costs for transport as well as for legal support and for the organizing of events are high.

With this year’s summerlounge, we would like to invite you to celebrate the first anniversary of Refugees for Change and at the same time raise some money to support the ongoing work of the group. In addition to information about past and future activities, there will be good music (Pinky Swear live and DJ), good food (sweet and savory), coffee and cocktails to celebrate, furthermore there will be childcare. In case of good weather, the event will take place in the courtyard.

*Special*
At 6pm there will be a screening of the movie “Boza” by Walid Fellah (Tunesia/Morocco/Europe 2014, Arabic / French with German or English subtitles, 52min, trailer with French subtitles here).

The event is hosted by Refugees for Change and noborder ffm
